Our Mission

We, the members of Original Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, have been called by God to evangelize this community and the world through the promotion of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We are co-laborers with Christ working to draw men and women of all races, colors and creeds to the cross where salvation for the soul can be obtained.  We act as a beacon light in our community and minister to hurting humanity by sharing the true and living Word of God.  As true servants and stewards, we give ourselves totally to this mission, willingly offering our time, talent, and God-given resources to pursue this charge.
